Pulley, sheave, idler, or roller in the belt-drive system. Check for wobble, bearing play, and groove wear, and confirm alignment with the belt it rides — a worn or misaligned pulley shortens the life of an otherwise good belt. Replace and re-tension the belt whenever a pulley in its path is replaced.
