Gear, chain, gearbox, or sprocket drivetrain component. Check alignment and wear pattern on mating gears/sprockets before reinstalling, and lubricate per the service manual's schedule and spec — running a drivetrain component dry or misaligned accelerates wear on the parts around it. Replace a worn chain and its mating sprockets together where the service manual calls for it.
